About the Event

Welcome to the Confident to Talk- Dissemination Event! Join us at the Hartley Suite for an exciting in-person event where you'll hear the preliminary project findings of experiences of minority ethnic students of the University of Southampton, during work placements, particularly within the NHS, aiming to uncover why instances of racial discrimination often go unreported.

The event aims to;

Highlight the project's findings and underscores the crucial involvement of students in its development and execution.

Through open discussions, participants will explore ways to enhance reporting mechanisms and ultimately improve the overall placement experience for students.

Your engagement in this dialogue is valued and encouraged.
